CDIEM: Digital Evidence Management
A role-based JavaFX desktop application for managing criminal investigation cases and digital evidence, with SHA-256 integrity verification, tamper detection, and a full chain-of-custody audit trail.
The solution
CDIEM gives each of its three roles, Investigating Officer, Digital Forensic Analyst, and Supervisory Authority, its own view over the same case data, hashes every piece of evidence on upload, and freezes a case the moment tampering is detected.
